Living in a world
Where so few seem to care
Or have to much pride
When there could be so much love to spare
But from the truth many seem to hide
Not wanting themselves to share

Not seeing our understanding
One voice at a time can become many
One foot forward standing
Can over come a plenty
It just takes a little planning

Together one step at a time
All can be renewed
Then with all maybe we can find reason and ryhme
For not all the world would be a skewed
And maybe all could stop trying to look for one to blame

Time to dig down inside
Find the peace deep within
In most some does abide
To forgive all others we must begin
From this we can not hide

All have done wrong
Not one is perfect
So lets work to get along
This would be a renewed start
All of us would come out of strong

Accept our differences
Faith, sexuality, race, and our past
Matter what those preferences
We can find hope and peace the will last
Think of what this enhances

A world of beauty we never before knew
Could lay before us all
But it's up to me and you
So no longer stall
Even if you think there may be few

Few who will take the step
To make the change
To give others hope
That this world we can rearrange
Start over with a brighter scope

Lets set a better example
One voice, one person at a time
Peace doesn't have to be just fable
Or words written in a rhyme
Of this we are all able
